Custom Air Conditioning and Heating Company was founded on October 1, 1976 by Ed & Peg Wuelfing from their home.

First jobs included those in the residential new market with Bob Webb Builders.  Although we were beginning to do some service, residential add-on and commercial work, through 1980, residential new construction continued to be the primary market.

In 1986, Pat Halaiko joined Custom Air as a partner and the company grew steadily in the commercial market as a result of the partnership. Joining them was Jeff Reed, who came on board in 1994; Steve Wisler, in 1995; and John Meredith in 1998.  Jeff took on the duties of residential new construction, residential add-on and service departments.  Steve’s duties included the warehouse, shop and all commercial installations.  And John’s primary function is that of commercial sales.

Presently, Custom Air’s primary business is in the heating and cooling of new custom homes, existing homes, and all types of new commercial buildings, commercial design/build and service.
